In GST, e-way bill for Inter-state movement of goods is applicable w.e.f. 1st April 2018 in all over India. However, for intra-state or intra-UT movement of goods, it was decided to notify applicability of such bill in various phases. Till 31st May 2018, government has notified applicability date for all states and UTs except for Delhi. E-Way Bills are getting generated successfully and till 30th May, 2018 more than six crore and thirty lakh e-Way Bills have been successfully generated which includes more than two crore e-Way Bills for intra-State movement of goods. E-way Bill concept is gaining much response from traders and transporters. Following is the calender for applicability of state wise e-way bill in case of intra-state or intra-UT movement of goods:-
